Dr. Jinxing Liang joined the School of Instrument Science and Engineering at the Southeast University, China as an Associate Professor in November 2009.  Previously, he was a Research Associate with the Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Waseda University, Japan, from October 2008 to November 2009, and a New Projector Researcher at Sakamoto Electric Co. Ltd. from 2004 to 2007. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Waseda University, Japan, in 2008, and his M.S. degree from the Kyushu University, Japan, in 2004. His research expertise and interests are in the areas of biosensor, quartz MEMS, quartz micromachining, quartz crystal microbalance, quartz vibrating beam accelerometer and so on. He holds four invention patents, including two japan patents, and has author or coauthored more than 30 scientific journal papers indexed by SCI or EI. He is currently a guest editor of the sensors and materials, and work as an reviewer for the Applied Physics Letters, Biosensors and bioelectronics, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, Sensors and materials, Modeling and Simulation in Engineering and so on. He is a member of IEEE and China Inertia Association.
