Dr. Jinbo Fu joined the School of Instrument Science and Engineering at the Southeast University in Apr. 2007. Dr. Fu studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing from 1991 to 1999, and he received both his Bachelor degree and Master degree of engineering in Precision Instruments & Machinery in 1996 and 1999 respectively. After 8 years education at Tsinghua University, he was admitted by the Pennsylvania State University of USA in 1999 as a Ph.D. candidate, and during the period at the Penn State University he was granted Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in Dec. 2002, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in May 2003, and eventually Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in Dec. 2003 respectively.  In his Ph.D. programs at Penn State, Dr. Fu was one of the chief researchers in several multilateral joint projects focusing on Discrete Event System Control and Damage Mitigating Control.  After his return back to China in 2004, Dr. Fu also gained extensive experiences in business as the director of sales and marketing of a public company before he started his current career at Southeast University.
